Description

Just out of the city lies the leafy suburb of Constantia. Home to the oldest winery in the Southern Hemisphere, this small wine producing region offers beautiful views, Cape Dutch architecture and finely crafted wine and food pairings. We visit three of its estates, including the grande dame of them all, Groot Constantia, for a special wine and chocolate pairing. Many of the estates also offer delicious charcuterie and cheeses to complement their wine as well. This is a relaxing, scenic and incredibly tasty way to spend a morning or afternoon!
